remains of the day journal

here's the very rough hewn video
(appropriate to the subject actually)
of my first scrappy 'remains of the day' journal.
(bows deeply to workshop creator mary ann moss
of dispatch from l.a.
and the participants of this online workshop)

no journal entries as yet...
i've been sidetracked (and satin stitched)
by my new (first ever) sewing machine

  2. This looks like a fun project. I really may have to dust off the sewing machine soon. There are tons of paper and fabric scraps around here...

  6. oh gosh, I LEFT you this super long excited comment about this, the other night. I must've forgot to word verify. Shucks. I LOVE this. I am awed, amazed inspired. I went on and on about all the bits I especially loved. I'm so sorry I don't have the energy to do it again.
    Thank you for sharing this.
It made me glow with delight.

  9. Magpie it's stunning. Love all of it. Specially the map route to 'who will you become.' All of it. Clever you - wish I could sew. I'll swap you a page for a page one day ;-) Will watch it again and again. Lovely discoveries...
