egg

i'm participating in a photography workshop
here. first assignment:egg.
the suggestion: begin by shooting a white egg on
white and black backgrounds paying attention to light.
then... whatever.

  4. I love the speckled eggs too. The forst image shows that lovely egg texture, something that I had never thought an egg had until we started this workshop!

  5. There's something about the third photo that is so mysterious and ethereal...really beautiful. All are a little abstract yet capture that roundness and fullness, and play with texture. A great take on this assignment.

  6. I really like your light play...the way the shadows and the light work are really special. You are very creative and I appreciate how you use different textures and fabby way of using space in your compostion. Your photography is really inspiring. Lovely work.

  8. That is a great assignment. Makes me want to photograph eggs. And that first picture is great. I could see it blown up to gargantuan size on a huge gallery wall.

  17. I love how the first photo combines elements that I love, in one photo. The black background above, the white background below, beautiful shadows and the texture on the egg which I can almost feel in my fingertips.
