  1. I rather like them both but the watercolor one does it best for me!

  2. I do like them both, but I think the watercolor adds some depth!
    Yummy, ginger tea! :)

  3. Yup - there are some numbers here. If you look back on the list, there's draw a cup, draw a teapot, draw something in bottles, and probably a few more! Anyway, this arrangement is lovely - with or without the watercolor.

  4. ah but i'm trying to go in order
    so this is 'extra'.
there's no 'draw a neti pot'
on that list as far as i can see...

  5. I like both versions really. One is more technical, one is more artistic.. but they are both really nice =)

  6. I really like the original drawing, but you'd never know about the colour until you've tried.

  8. If I lived a little closer I would make you chicken soup to chase that cold away. You probably caught it from your Mom when you were over there last week. You have some amazing line drawings. I am secretly envious. Drawing has always been a passion for me. And you've been to Tuscany and a desert. My, my, that desert looks pretty good right now. Mind you, I think NYC has more snow that Montreal does which is just weird. Thanks for stopping by my place and leaving your kind words. Don't forget to drop in for Virtual Coffee on Tuesday! It's nice to meet another kindred soul.

  10. I'm with you on the cold and tissues today.
Thanks for your thoughtful comment on my blog.
I'm finding something visually exciting on every page of your blog that I've landed on so far. I'm happy I found the magpie.
I may as well weigh in on my preference for the uncolored sketch although I do like the right half of the colored one.

PS, in regards to the gem show being like Las Vegas, I do admit to sort of a high and then a letdown when I've gone too hogwild on shopping there. This year frozen pipes ( yes, in southern AZ) prevented me from going back for a third day so I feel OK .
