new mexico is where i'd prefer to be

chaco canyon for the history

and the sky...

the high road's churches

taos' adobe niches

and the ranchos church...

children at indian market in traditional dress...

painting pastels at ghost ranch...

poppies

and a glimpse of georgia o'keeffe's place

and 'her' pedernal...she said
'God told me if I painted it enough, I could have it...'

the clouds,

les merveileux nuages...

  2. I really enjoyed this post .... and getting a feeling for what Georgia O'Keefe saw in this beautiful landscape, the dramatic sky and the amazing architecture.
