back to collage camp

well, art camp, collage class.
from may through october, snow farm in williamsburg massachusetts has workshops in a vast variety of media from ceramics and woodworking to beadmaking, glass blowing, welding, jewelry making, textile art... the accomodations are blissfully rustic, the landscape inspiring and the food great. i wish i could have stayed for another week.

this is the third time i've taken collage with the inspiring alexandra sheldon (who, if you're lucky enough to live near cambridge, mass. does classes at her studio).

you can see my book of photographs of snow farm here (and if you go give my regards to the staff)

and here are some of the collages

  1. Can't imagine anything more enjoyable than a collage workshop...and what great results!

  2. Sounds (and looks!) like a very special, inspiring place. I'd love to do something like that some day. Beads, of course! Thanks for sharing your photos - so beautiful.

  3. your work is exquisite Judy! I love your palette and your sense of space. I'm glad you are still going to snow farm. i hope to return some day too. thanks for posting your images…i can enjoy vicariously.

  4. Love you choice of a subtle palette, Your work is so understated yet so strong. Thanks for sharing.
